Doctor Doom In Hell

Doctor Doom is one of our nicknames for a very unpleasant miserable, pompous git of a character. We also call him Grunt Monk. He used to be on Twitter as Jeremiah Grunt, but left because people kept blocking him!

Some people, apparently refer to him as the 'Norwood Yeti', and because He thought I was responsible for this, he set the Police on me. That's the kind of asshole he is!

The Fag Break

I gave up smoking two years ago, but I still miss the convivial chat, at work, we had when we went outside for a smoke.

Funnny, but although I no longer smoke, I still find people who still do more interesting to talk to - although there are exceptions. For that matter I still get nostalgic about smoke-filled rooms.

For my American readers (if I have any!) Fag over here means cigarette, not what it means in the States.

8 Sleepers

Near Brighstone Forest on the Isle of Wight.

The 8 sleepers are in the barrows - 3 in the field and 5 on the hill above.

My obsession with this type of ancient monument is due to my reading Alfred Watkin's Old Straight Track, which someone lent me in '76
